When composing a document with multiple tasks, it would be convenient to facilitate the creation of successive "To Do" entries with a simple keystroke, such as pressing Return or another designated key. Currently, pressing Return initiates a carriage return within the context of elaborating the initial task, which is beneficial. However, in my scenario, I aim to effortlessly input two or more "To Do" items consecutively while brainstorming, deferring the detailed entries for later. The existing process is somewhat cumbersome, requiring me to write the task description, specify it as a "To Do," and then manually reposition the cursor to initiate the process again for the next task. Streamlining this process could involve a single selection of "To Do" followed by an intuitive method for distinguishing between detailing the initial task or seamlessly transitioning to the next "To Do" entry. This enhancement would significantly improve efficiency and user experience... maybe a single tap of Return dropping the cursor down for elaboration of the "To do" or Task.. and a quick double tap going on to the next "To do"? .. or another key or combo?
